honey, without the jar.

Nutry started with a jar of honey on the kitchen counter: sticky lid, a spoon in the sink every morning, and a crystallised last third that got thrown away. We liked the honey. We did not like the jar.

So we put the honey in a sachet. Every Nutry sachet is 20 g of raw Egyptian honey, about one tablespoon, and nothing else. It goes in tea, on oats, on toast, or straight from the corner. The sachet is the measure, so there is nothing to spoon out and nothing to wash.

The honey is bought from Egyptian apiaries and never heated, so it keeps its taste and its pollen. Every batch is tested in a lab before it is filled, and the results are on the pack. It is filled and packed in Egypt.

We are a small team in Cairo. We answer our own emails, we pack our own orders, and we start every morning with one, in tea.
